Commemorative Dates of Russia: “Looking for a Living Soul. Dedicated to Nikolai Gogol” exhibition staged in Ostafyevo Museum Estate in Moscow to mark 210th anniversary of the writer’s birth

The Ostafyevo State Museum-Estate in Moscow is opening the exhibition project “Looking for a Living Soul. Dedicated to Nikolai Gogol”.

The ROSIZO State Museum and Exhibition Center has teamed up with the Vladimir Dal State Museum of the History of Russian Literature, the Ostafyevo State Museum-Estate and the Union of Artists of Russia to present the exhibition project, which is devoted to the 210th anniversary of the birth of Nikolai Gogol - one of the most celebrated and mysterious writers of Russian literature.

There are over 120 exhibits on display: rare illustrations for writer’s works, the gallery of graphic portraits, and his personal items.
