History of Russia: Exhibition “Crimean Stories. Historical Chronicles of a Small Town in the Great History” staged in Uglich

The exhibition “Crimean Stories. Historical Chronicles of a Small Town in the Great History”  will run in the Uglich Historical, Architectural and Art Museum until June 2, 2019.

The exhibition spotlights the history of relations between Russia and Crimea, which spans over 1000 years. The exhibition highlights the milestones, such as the Christianization, the Battle of Molodi, the Russo-Turkish Wars of 1768-1774 and of 1853-1856, and the Great Patriotic War. On display are objects from eight collections.
