Commemorative Dates of Russia: The Russian State Library in Moscow presents the exhibition “Poet’s Friends and Contemporaries. Marking the 220th Anniversary of Alexander Pushkin’s Birth”

On May 14, 2019 the Russian State Library in Moscow (the Pashkov House, Rumyantsev Hall) presented the exhibition “Poet’s Friends and Contemporaries. Marking the 220th Anniversary of Alexander Pushkin’s Birth”.

Visitors will have a chance to see unique materials dedicated to the life and work of Alexander Pushkin. Of particular interest are illustrated family albums, which belonged to poet’s wife Natalia Goncharova; autographs of the poet’s son Grigory Pushkin; a set of materials associated with his close lyceum friends: Anton Delvig, Wilhelm Küchelbecker; memoires of the poet written by his contemporaries: Pavel Miller, Anton Delvig, Konstantin Bukh and others.

The exhibition will be open until August 27, 2019.
