History and culture: The IV Tauride Readings "Antiquities of the South of Russia" to be held in Sevastopol

September 13, 2019, in Sevastopol, at the State Historical and Archeological Museum-Reserve “Chersonese of Tauride”, the IV Uvarov Tauride readings IV “Antiquities of the South of Russia” will take place. Readings will be devoted to the problems of the formation and development of archaeological, historical and art history in Russia (ancient and Byzantine archeology of Crimea, protection of historical and cultural heritage, research collections of Russian libraries and museums), a significant contribution to which was made by S. S. Uvarov, A. S Uvarov and P. S. Uvarov.
