Society and Book Culture: Exhibition “A. S. Pushkin in Ex-Libris and Miniature Book” opened in Moscow

The exhibition “A. S. Pushkin in Ex-Libris and Miniature Book” will run in the Ostafyevo State Museum-Estate (Moscow) until June 9, 2019.

2019 marks the 220th anniversary of Alexander Pushkin’s birth. Ex-libris is translated from the Latin language as a bookplate, which indicates the book’s owner. The exhibition showcases over 100 bookplates from the collections of Russia’s only Museum of Ex-Libris and Miniature Book of the International Union of Booklovers, which are dedicated to Alexander Pushkin.
