History and culture: The exhibition “My Life. Marking S. A. Tolstoy’s 175th anniversary" presented in Moscow

The exhibition “My Life. Marking S. A. Tolstoy’s 175th anniversary” is represented up to November 11, 2019 in the branch of the Leo Tolstoy State Museum - the Tolstoy Center on Pyatnitskaya Street in Moscow.

This exhibition is a kind of monologue of Sofia Andreevna about life and relationships with her husband, writer L. N. Tolstoy. The narrative is based on her memoirs “My Life”, as well as on diaries and letters to her husband. Part of her writing can be seen in the original - the exhibition presents the manuscripts of Sofia Andreevna, as well as remarks performed by contemporary actors.
