IT and Culture: First virtual concert hall to open its doors in the Chechen Republic

The first virtual concert hall in the Chechen Republic will be opened in the Shakhbulatov State Philharmonic Hall in 2019. Broadcasts of the best Russian concerts and performances will become available to residents of the republic and its visitors.

As part of “Culture” national project a total of 80 virtual concert halls will be inaugurated in Russia by the end of 2019. By 2024 such venues will appear in over 500 cities and towns across the country. Apart from philharmonic halls virtual halls may be set up at cultural centers, libraries and museums.
