History and Culture: Exhibition “Pioneers of Soviet Modernism. Architecture and Urban Planning” kicked off in Moscow

On May 30, 2019 the Shchusev State Museum of Architecture (Moscow) is presenting the exhibition “Pioneers of Soviet Modernism”, which is focused on the development of a new style in the USSR in mid-1950s-1960s. The exposition features the best projects of Soviet architects of this period of time, including international projects.

“Pioneers of Soviet Modernism” exhibition is called to present rare archive materials to the public and destroy the stereotype of the dull and faceless Soviet architecture of the 2nd half of the 20th century.
