Commemorative dates of Russia: Exhibition “Leonov” timed to 85th birth anniversary of the pilot-cosmonaut staged in Moscow

The exhibition “Leonov” was staged on May 30, 2019 in the Museum of Cosmonautics in Moscow. The exhibition is timed to coincide with the 85th anniversary of the birth of Alexei Leonov - one of the pioneers of space exploration.  

Sections of the exhibition spotlight different stages in the life of the cosmonaut and artist: his childhood, the choice of a profession – an artist or a pilot, a fighter pilot, a cosmonaut; the first outer space mission; the Apollo-Soyuz mission. 

The exhibition in the Museum of Cosmonautics will be open through November 30, 2019.
