Society and Culture: Exhibition “Fyodor Zakharov. Painting. Marking the Centenary of the Birth” mounted in Moscow

The exhibition “Fyodor Zakharov. Painting. Marking the Centenary of the Birth” will run in the Tretyakov Gallery (Krymsky Val) until August 11, 2019.

Fyodor Zakharov (1919-1994) was a recognized master of landscape and still life, who followed the traditions of Russian impressionism in the art of painting in the 2nd half of the 20th century.

The exhibition features over 30 paintings created by Fyodor Zakharov over several decades from the 1950s through the late 1980s, as well as photographs and documents from the family archive, and catalogues of personal exhibitions.
