10 June 2019

The Victory Museum (Moscow) presents a unique exhibition “The Second Front”. The international project is launched to mark 75 years since the opening of the second front by the Allied troops on June 6, 1944.

The head of the museum told that personal items of prominent military leaders displayed as part of the exhibition cast light on little-known facts of cooperation between the allies. The unique exhibition was organized with the support of the Russian Military and Historical Society. Significant contribution to the creation of the exposition was made by the family of the Soviet military and naval commander and diplomat Admiral Nikolai Kharlamov. Many items from the Victory Museum’s collections have never been displayed before.
