Internet and History: Copies of archival documents related to Alexander Pushkin released on the Moscow Electronic School’s portal

Copies of archival documents related to Alexander Pushkin’s life and work are now available via the Moscow Electronic School’s library. The originals are housed in the Main Archive Directorate of Moscow.

The scanned historical documents feature pages from parish registers. They give a chance to learn about Alexander Pushkin’s birth and baptism, and his marriage to Natalya Goncharova. A total of 36 documents associated with the name of the Russian classical writer have been uploaded to the Moscow Electronic School’s library. The publication is timed to the 220th anniversary of Alexander Pushkin’s birth.
