Book History: International Scientific Conference “The Gutenberg Bible and the Beginning of the New Era” underway in Moscow

The International Scientific Conference is held on June 10-11, 2019 in the Russian State Library (Moscow) as part of the final week of the ongoing exhibition “The Gutenberg Bible: The Beginning of the New Era”. The conference is organized by the Russian State Library in cooperation with the Department for Culture of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Goethe-Institut in Moscow.

The conference spotlights issues related to the history of early book printing. The conference has brought together scholars from Russia and Germany.
