History of St. Petersburg: Exhibition “City Lost in Time” to open in the Rumyantsev Mansion

The exhibition “City Lost in Time” will open on December 12, 2019 in the Rumyantsev Mansion (St. Petersburg).

The exhibition focuses on preservation of historical, cultural and architectural heritage of St. Petersburg. Over three centuries the look of the city was constantly changing. The strata of St. Petersburg urban culture disappeared with the beginning of each new epoch. But the memory of them is preserved in paintings and graphics, photographs, postcards and other materials – the core of the present-day collection of the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg.
