History and Culture: Exhibition “The Pictorial and Archaeological Journey Across Russia. Reproductions from André Durand’s Album” mounted in Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve

The exhibition “The Pictorial and Archaeological Journey Across Russia. Reproductions from André Durand’s Album” is presented in the Palace of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich in Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve in Moscow.

The exhibition project marks the 170th anniversary of the publication of an album of lithographs under the title The Pictorial and Archaeological Journey Across Russia led by Anatoly Demidov in 1839. The exhibition, which is the second part of the project dedicated to this publication, showcases reproductions, the original album, and an authentic geographical map of the early 19th century from the museum-reserve’s collection.
