Commemorative Dates of Russia: Exhibition “Anna Akhmatova. Marking the 130th Anniversary of Birth” presented in St. Petersburg

The State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg) presents the exhibition “Anna Akhmatova. Commemorating the 130th Anniversary of Birth”, which will run until August 26, 2019.

The exhibition in the Garden Vestibule of the Mikhailovsky Palace showcases ten portraits of Anna Akhmatova in painting, graphics, and sculpture from the State Russian Museum’s collection. Her extraordinary, remarkable appearance and dignified conduct used to inspire many artists of her time.
