The art exhibition “Under the Sky of Bizerte” has been staged in the Federation Council building in Moscow. It showcases works by Russian artists focused on the Russian squadron, which set off for Tunisia from Crimea in 1920.

In 1921 Bizerte became the last refuge for 33 ships of the Russian squadron. About 6,000 Russians, who left Russia after the October Revolution and sought emigration abroad, landed on the Tunisian coast.
