Russian culture abroad: Photo project “Russian Seasons’ Icons. Stars. Faces. Fates” mounted in Hungary

As part of the Russian Seasons Annual Festival the Bakhrushin Museum (Moscow) is presenting a unique photo exhibition under the title “Russian Seasons’ Icons. Stars. Faces. Fates”, which will run in the Museum of Performing Arts in Miskolc (Hungary) from June 19 to December 31, 2019.

The photo project spotlights prominent figures of the Russian art in the 20th century, who were discovered by the talented impresario Sergei Diaghilev. They were: celebrated choreographers – Fokin, Myasin, Nizhinsky, Balanchin; dancers – Nizhinsky, Vilzak, Wójcikowski, Dolin, Lifar, Pavlova, Karsavina, Rubinstein, Spesivtseva, Nemchinova, Danilova.
