Exhibitions: Watercolor portraits go on display in the Tropinin Museum

From June 28, 2019 the Tropinin Museum presents watercolors from its own collection and the private collection of Sergei and Tatyana Podstanitsky. In the spotlight of the exhibition are works of famous masters of this genre. Many of the watercolors were part of famous aristocratic collections, such as the collections of heirs of the Duchess of Berry, Princes Golitsyn, Kurakin, Talyzin, Urusov, and the collection of the renowned art historian Stepan Yaremich. Some of the works have never been displayed before.
