Year of Theatre in Russia 2019: Exhibition “A Source of Inspiration. Theatrical and National Costume” mounted in Moscow

The Bakhrushin Theatre Museum (Main Building) in Moscow presents the exhibition “A Source of Inspiration. Theatrical and National Costume”. It is co-organized by the Historical Museum and is timed to coincide with the museum’s 125th birthday. 

For the first time the exhibition has brought together original costumes and sketches for productions, which were created by famous artists – Benois, Korovin, Yepishin, Fedorovsky, Dorrer, Liber, Saryan, Gudiashvili, Virsaladze, Gamrekeli, the Sameuli art group (Kochakidze, Slovinsky, Chikvaidze) and others.
