Languages of Peoples of the World: The Russian State Library presents an exhibition within the International Year of Indigenous Languages

The thematic exhibition “Unique Linguistic Diversity of Indigenous Peoples of the North – The World’s Cultural Treasury” has been mounted in the Russian State Library’s International Documents Center (Moscow). The exhibition is held as part of the International Year of Indigenous Languages.

On December 19, 2016 the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 2019 as the International Year of Indigenous Languages based on a resolution of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.
