Year of Theatre in Russia 2019: Exhibition “Our World is Theatre…” kicked off in Cherepovets

The exhibition “Our World is Theatre…” will be open in the Cherepovets Art Museum through October 6, 2019. 157 watercolours and graphic works from Russia’s largest private thematic collection of Alexei Yegorov are on display. Among them are works of famous artists, sketches and set designs, designs of theatre costumes, and works in the field of cinematography.

Of particular interest are works by theatre reformers, world-renowned painters, such as K. Korovin, A. Benois, L. Bakst, and those who occasionally addressed the theatrical theme – N. Roerich and others.
