Internet and History: Materials devoted to eight heroes of the Soviet Union released on the Moscow Electronic School’s portal

A new selection of copies of rare archival documents related to the Great Patriotic War have entered the library of the Moscow Electronic School. The originals are housed at the Main Archive Directorate of Moscow.

The materials spotlight eight heroes of the Soviet Union. Among them is Alexander Kosmodemyansky, the brother of the scout and partisan Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya.

Photographs, autobiographies, award and decoration documents, registration cards, letters to relatives and memories of fellow soldiers highlight the fates of the heroes and their heroism. All documents have been released for the first time.
