Internet and Education: A new project of the Russian Education portal traces the history of pedagogy in Russia

The history of establishment of the educational system in our country is in the spotlight of the new project “Teachers and Teaching in Russia: The History and Present Time”, which is available on the Russian Education portal. 

The project, which consists of several parts, gives an opportunity to learn about the early history of the primary and secondary education in Russia, the influence of the Greeks on the first schools, the time when women were allowed to become teachers and the salary for teachers in the Russian Empire. A separate section is devoted to vocational education.
