Memory of Russia: “All Facets of Granin” Culturological Marathon kicks off

“All Facets of Granin” Culturological Marathon will be launched on August 8 within the Year of Daniil Granin. The marathon’s eventful program will feature flash mobs, film shows, discussions etc. 

It was President of Russia Vladimir Putin, who came up with an initiative of holding the marathon. 

The highlight of the marathon is an exhibition, which will visit six cities. It will showcase paintings of arts students focused on the writer’s works. The marathon will kick off in Kursk – the writer’s home town.
