History and Culture: Museums of Russia and Belarus teamed up to launch “Melody of Victory” project dedicated to famous wartime songs

The Russian National Museum of Music and the National Historical Museum of Belarus have teamed up to launch “Melody of Victory” - a unique project, which is dedicated to famous wartime songs. Apart from historical items, photographs and documents it will feature wartime songs, which will be played at museum stands and complement other materials. The exhibition will be timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of Victory.

The exhibition will showcase exhibits from the collections of the Russian and Belarusian museums. Visitors will learn a lot about composers, who wrote legendary wartime songs, and melodies, which became part of the musical and national history.
