IT and Education: Russian national team topped the International Olympiad in Informatics medal table

The Russian team has topped the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) medal table. The intellectual tournament is underway in the capital of Azerbaijan. Four pupils from Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan) have won four gold medals. 

The International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) — is an individual competition. Russia has taken the first place in the medal table and appeared to be ahead of 87 countries. The national team was coached by specialists from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. It is the 31st edition of the International Olympiad in Informatics.
