Society and Culture: Exhibition “Paintings and Graphic Works by Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva” mounted in Kaliningrad

The Kaliningrad Museum of Fine Arts presents the exhibition “Paintings and Graphic Works by Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva”. The exposition showcases 86 works from the collection of the State Russian Museum.

Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva was a student of Ilya Repin, Vasily Mate and James Whistler and a prominent representative of the “World of Art”. She dedicated her life to the revival of etching and created true masterpieces of the woodcutting art – the art, which nearly passed into oblivion in the 20th century.
