Memory of Russia: Monument to a hero of Russo-Persian wars general Pyotr Kotlyarevsky to be erected in Feodosia in 2020

A monument to Pyotr Kotlyarevsky (1782-1851), general of the infantry, who distinguished himself in the Russo-Persian and Russo-Turkish wars, will be unveiled in Feodosia in 2020. The Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky announced the decision to journalists after the foundation stone-laying ceremony. The monument will be erected at the initiative of the Russian Military Historical Society with the support of the Government of the Republic of Crimea.
