Memory of Russia: Monument to Leo Tolstoy unveiled at MGIMO University to mark the writer’s anniversary of the birth

The monument to Leo Tolstoy was unveiled at MGIMO University in Moscow. The university also presents the exhibition “Diplomacy of Good”, which showcases writer’s manuscripts and letters.

The monument to Leo Tolstoy at MGIMO was unveiled by rector of the university Anatoly Torkunov and Alexei Dyumin, governor of Tula Region, where the writer’s Yasnaya Polyana House Museum is located. Leo Tolstoy’s descendants also took part in the ceremony.
