World Memory: Exhibition “Raphael and His Friends of Urbino” staged in Italy to mark the 500th anniversary of the master’s death

The year of Raphael will be held in 2020. European museums will mount exhibitions to mark the 500th anniversary of the master’s death. The first one – “Raphael and His Friends of Urbino” was inaugurated on October 3, 2019 in the National Gallery of Marche in the artist’s hometown. The exhibition showcases 85 works, including 17 paintings and 3 sketches by Raphael.
