World History: Exhibition project “Women and War. Simple Stories” presented in St. Petersburg

The Museum and Exhibition Center ROSPHOTO, the International Committee of the Red Cross and TASS present the exhibition project “Women and War. Simple Stories”, which will be open from October 8 until December 8, 2019. The project is implemented as part of the 8th St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum (November 14-16, 2019).

The exhibition showcases more than 160 rare photographs taken between the 19th and 21st centuries, which are arranged in chronological order. They are dedicated to women — nurses, mothers and victims, who witnessed military conflicts and armed clashes in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.
