Museums of Russia: Apartment Museum of publisher Ivan Sytin opened in Moscow

The Ivan Sytin Apartment Museum opened its doors at the Ostrovsky State Museum and Cultural Center “Integration”  (Moscow). It is located on the second floor of the building 12/2 in Tverskaya Street. The publisher lived here with his family from 1928 to 1934.

It is now a memorial space, dedicated to the prominent figure of the Russian Enlightenment of the early 20th century, and a unique museum of culture at the turn of 19th–20th centuries.
