Commemorative dates in Russia: Exhibition marking the 290th anniversary of A. V. Suvorov’s birth to kick off in St. Petersburg

On October 9, 2019 the National Library of Russia (New Building) is presenting the exhibition in commemoration of the 290th anniversary of A. V. Suvorov’s birth, the 220th anniversary of the Italian and Swiss campaigns and the 115th anniversary of the opening of the Suvorov State Memorial Museum.

The exhibition will feature rare publications of the 18th – 21st cc. from the collections of the National Library of Russia, which describe campaigns and battles led by the legendary commander.
