Society and Book Culture: The Pavlenkov Readings Scientific Conference, devoted to the study of book business in Russia and dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Florenti Pavlenkov, is held in St. Petersburg

The scientific conference "Pavlenkov Readings", dedicated to the study of book business in Russia in the 19th - early 20th centuries is held from October 15 to 17, 2019 in the main building of the National Library of Russia (St. Petersburg).

“Pavlenkov Readings” has been held at the NLR since 1979 in honor of the Russian publisher, enlightener and philanthropist Florenti Pavlenkov, whose 180th birthday is celebrated in October 2019.
