On October 29, 2019 the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts is presenting the exhibition “The Yusupov Princes and the Tsvetayev Museum” to commemorate the centenary of the Arkhangelskoye State Museum-Estate. The exhibition spotlights the significant contribution made by famous patrons Princess Zinaida Yusupova and Prince Felix Yusupov to the foundation of the Museum of Fine Arts at Moscow University (today the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts). The exposition showcases documentary materials on the establishment of the museum (photographs, sketches, postcards and letters) and copies of ancient frescoes, which were made by artist Fyodor Rayman in 1900 with the support of patrons.
