Society and Culture: Exhibition devoted to Sergei Yesenin from the collections of the Yesenin Museum-Reserve to open in Kostroma Region

On October 30, 2019 the Shchelykovo Ostrovsky Museum-Reserve (Kostroma Region) is presenting the exhibition devoted to Sergei Yesenin, which features loaned items from the collections of the Yesenin State Museum-Reserve (Ryazan Region).

On display are photographs, personal items of the poet, members of his family and friends, as well as manuscripts and works, which were published during his lifetime. Of particular interest are paintings, which show Yesenin’s Konstantinovo village – landscapes of environs, the poet’s house, the Church of Our Lady of Kazan, and Kashina House-Estate. The exhibition will run until November 30, 2019.
