Society and Reading: Results of the 5th “Region that Reads the Most” National Contest summed up

On October 28, 2019 the Russian Book Union summed up the results of the 5th “Region that Reads the Most” National Contest, which was organized with the support of the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Media. Belgorod Region has become the winner of the contest and the “Literary Leader of Russia”. The laureates of the contest are: Nizhny Novgorod Region, Krasnoyarsk Territory and Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

The contest was launched in April 2019 and involved all regions of Russia. As part of the contest each region presented its most important literary project of 2018–2019.
