Monuments of Book Culture: Exhibition “Book Art” from the collection of the Moscow State Integrated Museum-Reserve opened at VDNH

The exhibition “Book Art” - a display of unique monuments of book culture of the 17th – early 20th cc - is currently underway at VDNH, Pavilion No 58 ‘Agriculture’. The exhibition will run from November 1 to December 2, 2019.

The decoration of books made them genuine works of art. On display are rare manuscripts and printed books decorated with miniatures and prints, headpieces with floral patterns, large initials and headings (Vyaz ornate lettering).
