Memory of Russia: Exhibition “People Want to Know” staged in St. Petersburg to commemorate 40th anniversary of publication of The Siege Book by Ales Adamovich and Daniil Granin

On November 5, 2019 the National Library of Russia (New Building) in St. Petersburg presented the exhibition “People Want to Know”, which marks 40 years since the publication of The Siege Book by Ales Adamovich and Daniil Granin.

The exposition is also staged in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi siege and the centenary of Daniil Granin’s birth.

The exhibition is based on the materials from the St. Petersburg Central State Archive of Literature and Arts (Daniil Granin’s collection) and Ales Adamovich’s personal archive.
