Memory of Russia: March in commemoration of the Military Parade of 1941 to be held in Moscow

A march devoted to the 78th anniversary of the 1941 Military Parade will be held on Red Square in Moscow on November 7, 2019. More than 3,000 people will take part in it.

The march is focused on the sites of the Battle of Moscow. The locations of major battles will be shown on an interactive map displayed on a large screen. Ahead of the march schoolchildren will read extracts from essays about the war. After that, together with veterans, they will take part in the Frontiers of Victory event. An outdoor museum will be open from 12 noon to 5 p.m. on Red Square. Visitors will see the Katyusha rocket launcher, T-34, armoured vehicles and self-propelled guns. The admission will be free.
