Year of Theatre in Russia 2019: Photo exhibition “’Three Sisters’ in a Provincial Town” presented in Perm

The photo exhibition “Three Sisters in a Provincial Town” will be staged at Russia – My History Historical Park in Perm to mark the Year of Theatre in Russia. It is a joint project of the Perm Museum of Local History and the Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum (Moscow).

For the first time residents of Perm will see the photographs of productions of Three Sisters (Moscow Art Theatre, between 1901 and 1916). Pictures show legendary Russian actors in the lead roles: Vasily Kachalov, Konstantin Stanislavsky, Olga Knipper-Chekhova.
