On November 28, 2019 the National Library of Russia (Korf Hall) in St. Petersburg is presenting the exhibition “The Wrangels and Their Service to Russia”.
The exposition is dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the birth of the Russian seaman, geographer, hydrographer and historian Ferdinand von Wrangel.
In the spotlight of the exhibition are prominent representatives of the Wrangel family and their service for the good of Russia: Ferdinand von Wrangel - admiral, seaman, polar explorer, father of F. Wrangel (Wrangel Island is named after him), Pyotr Wrangel - military commander and one of the main leaders of the White movement, Nikolai Wrangel - famous art expert, author of scientific works.
