Libraries of Russia: Novosibirsk State Research Library held the 2nd FUTUR Forum to mark its 90th anniversary

The 2nd National FUTUR Forum “A New Way and New Opportunities. Library as a Global Platform of the 21st Century” took place at the Novosibirsk State Regional Research Library on November 21–22, 2019. It was timed to coincide with the 90th anniversary of the region’s central library. The forum was organized in cooperation with the Novosibirsk Library Society with the support of the Government and the Ministry of Culture of Novosibirsk Region, the Goethe German Cultural Center (the Goethe-Institut) and Bibliotheca.

The forum brought together librarians from Russia and Germany, representatives of business community and cultural societies, education professionals and representatives of the public.
