Society and Culture: “St. Petersburg in 19th Century Photography” exhibition marks 180th anniversary of photography

On November 30, 2019 the ROSPHOTO State Museum and Exhibition Center (St. Petersburg) presented an exhibition under the title “St. Petersburg in 19th Century Photography”, which will be open until February 2, 2020.

The project, which is dedicated to the 180th anniversary of photography, consists of an exhibition, series of lectures and a multimedia part. The exhibition brings into the spotlight the works by local photographers: Alfred Lorens, Albert Felisch and Karl Bulla – the creators of iconic views of St. Petersburg.
