History of St. Petersburg: Opening of the exhibition “The Timeless City. Lost Locations in St. Petersburg”

17 December 2019

The exhibition “The Timeless City. Lost Locations in St. Petersburg” will be open in the Rumyantsev Mansion (The State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg) until June 14, 2020.

The exhibition focuses on the problem of preservation of historical, cultural and architectural heritage of St. Petersburg. Over three centuries the look of the city was constantly changing, some buildings were lost. But their image is preserved in paintings and graphic works, photographs, postcards and other materials, which belong to the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg.
