History and Culture: Exhibition “The Christmas Story Portrayed in Western European Prints of the 15th -19th Centuries” mounted in Moscow

Through a series of illustrations by prominent Western European masters of the 15th – 19th centuries the exposition acquaints visitors with the events associated with the birth of Jesus Christ. The exhibition showcases engravings by Albrecht Dürer, Parmigianino, Virgil Solis, Hendrick Goltzius, Peter Paul Rubens, Vignon and other artists.
