Memory of Russia: Series of events launched to mark the Year of Memory and Glory in Russia in 2020

The year 2020 is officially declared the Year of Memory and Glory in Russia. On December 3, 2019 a series of events marking the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War was launched at the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow.

The National Patriotic Forum took place in the capital city on December 3. This date was not chosen accidently. It is the Day of the Unknown Soldier, which is marked countrywide.
