Internet and Regions of Russia: “Orel Estates and Their Inhabitants Digital Album Guide” project launched on the Internet

“Orel Estates and Their Inhabitants Digital Album Guide” project was presented at the Orel Museum of Local History. The project is the winner of the contest of socially oriented non-profit organizations for the right to receive subsidies in Orel Region in 2019.

Information about Orel estates has been collected and made available at orel-heritage.ru. The presented material is based on the study of archival documents and scientific works, biographical literature and memoirs, epistolary heritage, cartographic, written and iconographic sources, as well as the results of field research.
