The exhibition “Hussar, Traveller, Monk”, which marked the centenary of the death of Alexander Bulatovich, a prominent Russia traveller and a native of Orel, took place on December 5, 2019 at the House-Museum of the Arctic Explorer Vladimir Rusanov in Orel.
Alexander Bulatovich served in the Hussar Guard regiment, mounted three expeditions to Ethiopia between 1896 and 1900, and made many geographical discoveries. The first exhibition dedicated to Alexander Bulatovich was staged in Orel in 2015.
